The probe pipes brought into the soil a water freeze protection mixture (brine) flows. This mixture extracts warmth from the soil. Over a heat exchanger this warmth is transferred to the refrigerant in the heat pump. The increase pressure in the compressor of the heat pump make temperature rises so far that it is usable for the heating system. Over a further heat exchanger in such a way warmth is transferred to the heating cycle.
